We wish to confirm that our business is taking every step to be safe. A self catered cottage with self check-in, extra covid checks and a welcome box with wipes, gloves etc is one of the safest options for a holiday with all that is happening at the moment. Our website booking system has been inundated for certain peak dates recently - so much so that we are asking people to contact us directly to enable us to find dates that work for you and your party. Things change daily with new bookings and occasional cancellations. We have always operated self check ins for our guests if they arrive late at night, but are able to extend this to every guest if they do not wish to have any contact. Our cleaning team have always made our cottages spotless but now we are taking even more precautions. Our local delivery service for meals (if you don’t wish to cook every day in your open plan kitchen in the cottage) has been added to and features many options for dining in while looking out across Galway Bay. Barna and Galway are a real double act. Quaint, super friendly seaside village with a cosmopolitan, historic, vibrant city next door. There is something for everyone to enjoy - from festivals and sporting events to traditional Irish pubs, great clubs and fine dining with all the bells and whistles.
We regularly meet people coming from Galway to enjoy the great restaurants and bars in Barna - we’re lucky enough to have all our favourite options within walking distance from our cottages.
Activities and options are endless - from a leisurely stroll on the Salthill prom to kiting, hiking or biking the coastline and National Parks along the Wild Atlantic Way. We offer options so you can enjoy outdoor sports, but we’re also on hand to offer advice on where to go for a 21st or a 60th birthday celebration.

We are not a faceless city centre hotel chain nor an individual seaside cottage in a remote hamlet with few amenities and little personal interaction. Sarah grew up near The Prom in Salthill and has great understanding of the area, the locals and the things that make Galway such a special place to visit. Our local knowledge helps our guests enjoy the best parts of Connemara, Galway city and seaside village life - this is what makes our holidays unique.
